Digi curled up into a small ball next to Light, her ears drooping. She missed Master - so, so much more than her little feline heart could take. It had felt likeforeversince she had seen him; had he left her in this new master’s care? Was this person her new master? Would she ever see her real Master again?
Maybe Master didn’t want Digi anymore. Or maybe he was gone. She closed her eyes and meowed sadly, not wanting to think about those possibilities anymore.
[ Light petted the cat gently, whispering comforting words under his breath. Upon hearing the cat’s longing meow, his heart nearly shattered to pieces. ]
“Digi, Gentarou is going to be all right, I promise…”
[ He carefully moved the cat to his lap and continued petting her. Perhaps it was time for another visit. ]
Digi nuzzled new master’s hand softly, her mews quiet and mournful. She hadn’t been as playful lately, laying around and sleeping nearly all day. The change in environment wasn’t faring well for her.
